Guided Kayak Touring
Take a tranquil nature tour on the Saint Lucie river. You will enjoy going back into a part of Florida that has been left to nature and it's native plants and animals. Although the river is beautiful any time of the day, the early morning is best for nature lovers who want to see the critters along their journey .
You will be guided up the river while you pedal your Hobie "Outback" kayak quietly and with no more effort then it takes to walk. The South Fork trip is approximately 7 miles round trip and takes about 4.5 hours. The "Outback" has plenty of room for your gear and snacks. A cooler with ice and water will be provided on each boat.
Alligators and turtles can be seen along the banks of the river.
If you prefer, we can also provide open water trips on the St. Lucie and Indian rivers. Call and let us know what you would like. Please keep in mind that we can only accommodate a maxium of four guest per trip.

The Hobie Mirage Drive "Outback" kayaks are easy to operate with the foot pedals that propel the boat and a simple hand steering control. They glide silently through the water without disturbing any nature along the way.
We encourage mature older kids to participate with nature kayak touring! The minimum age is 10 years old and though lifejackets are provided, we ask that they be good swimmers.
