We have a fleet of five Hobie Mirage Drive kayaks that were designed and built specifically for the kayak fisherman. The "Outbacks" are 12"1" in length, and 33" wide. They weigh 62 lbs. and can carry 400 lbs. There are four molded in rod holders and we provide two rod holder extensions to keep your rods high and dry, two cup holders, utility trays all around, a gear/tackle bucket in front of the seat, a mesh pocket under your legs and plenty of storage for cooler and tackle bag behind the seat. Up front there's a large hatch with a dry bag. The high back padded seat is adjustable as are the foot pedals so the "Outback" will accommodate full size adults as well as older kids. We will set everything up for you when we launch your boat. These kayaks are perfect for fishing or touring trips.
The Hobie "Outback" is a superior fishing kayak, just look at the picture on the top at the stability of this boat with a fish hooked and pulling it sideways!
All of our equiptment is cleaned and thoroughly inspected after each trip. They are then loaded in our enclosed trailer and are ready for the next adventure. We take care of of everything so you can just have a great time!
We bring the trip to you! Everything is ready to go from our trailer when we reach our destination and after some safety and operating instructions, we will adjust each boat individually so you will enjoy the ease of operating the Hobie "Outback" pedal drive kayak. You will be amazed at how easy these boats are to operate so let's go kayaking!
